Pilates

The fully-equipped Pilates studio offers private, semi-private and small group tuition, tailored to your individual needs. In addition we offer group `Matwork classes` which are held at our Addington Palace Venue and also Sanderstead, Surrey.

We also specialise in Pilates rehabilitation and offer an experienced team of therapists delivering various types of massage to suit your individual needs.

So whether you are looking for Pilates or Massage, The Core Studio is the perfect environment for all your health and fitness needs.

What we offer

Private 1-2-1 tuition
Whether you are recovering from injury or want to improve your overall fitness, this one hour session will be tailor made to suit your individual needs.
£50.00 -one hour.

Duet
This is based on two people sharing.
£60.00 – one hour.

Semi private
Maximum 3 – Prior to joining a group you would be required to have three private 1-2-1 sessions.
£25.00 per person – one hour.

All of the above sessions will be using the latest Pilates equipment based on the original designs by the late Joseph Pilates, some of which are explained below:

Reformer
Unlike conventional resistance machines found in gyms, the design of the reformer allows you to condition your body in a free and increased range of movement. This equipment helps to stretch and lengthen muscles whilst they are under load leading to the development of a longer, leaner physique.

Ladder Barrel
The Ladder Barrel is for core strength and flexibility exercises, combining ladder rungs with a barrel surface, for stretching and strengthening the body.

Trapeze Table (Cadillac)
A tremendous variety of exercises can be performed on the Pilates Trapeze Table. From gentle, spring-assisted sit-ups to advanced acrobatics, the Trapeze Table offers exercises for all ages and abilities.

Matwork Classes

Pilates is a unique exercise regime designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body which can compliment any fitness regime.

Using the original Pilates Method the classes are fun and challenging but yet safe and effective.

We pride ourselves on keeping our classes small so that our clients get more individual attention.
